Welcome to this week’s Nomics Update, our way of keeping you in the loop with everything happening at Nomics.
We’ve recently hit some big milestones: Nomics now lists more than 8,000 assets (8,286 as of this writing) and 300+ exchanges (which means that — to our knowledge — Nomics now lists more active exchanges than anyone else).
Last week, we announced our new price prediction feature. In case you missed it, we’re offering 7-day cryptoasset price predictions powered by machine learning. For each asset on Nomics, the model returns a predicted 7-day price, a predicted 7-day percentage change, and the mean 30-day error:
We also launched our fully customizable daily crypto newsletter. It’s an industry first: You choose a delivery time and cryptoassets, we ship tailored pricing info and the latest market news – seven days per week.

🚀 This Week At Nomics
- #1. 📈 Nomics Now Lists More Active Crypto Exchanges Than Anyone Else (To Our Knowledge): We now list over 300 active exchanges. This week alone, we added 17 cryptocurrency exchanges. Bibo, Huobi Thailand, Chiliz, and BitRabbit were added with “C” Transparency Ratings for offering recent candle data.
LocalTrade, CryptloCEX, CryTrEx, Coinbit, CoinDCX, FinanceX, Beaxy, Hanbitco, dex.blue, BTCMEX, AAX, and Hoo were added with “D” ratings for providing only low-granularity, non-historical ticker information.
Meanwhile, Nominex was added with an “A” rating for sharing high-granularity trade-level data with full histories for each currency pair.
All data is available on Nomics.com and through our market data API. To learn about our rating system, check out the following essay.
- #2. 📊 Crypto News Sites Trust Nomics for Their Data: News websites are turning to Nomics for cryptoasset pricing and market cap information. Bitcoinist.com uses our data in its header, where each asset pulls a current price and 24-hour percentage change straight from Nomics. Market cap and supply data are available on hover.

NewsBTC also uses Nomics. On desktop, its header displays Nomics price and percentage change data for four cryptoassets – Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and MimbleWimbleCoin (MWC). And its MWC page features our embeddable pricing widget:
- #3. 🎧 How the “Great Wealth Transfer” Could Bring $1 Trillion to Bitcoin: Flippening episode #76, How the “Great Wealth Transfer” Could Bring $1 Trillion to Bitcoin, is live on our blog. We’re joined by Pete Rizzo, Editor At Large at Kraken and former Editor In Chief at CoinDesk. It’s a wide-ranging interview covering crypto journalism, Pete’s career, and why the coming generational wealth transfer is good for Bitcoin.
- #4. 👀 Another Nomics.com Ticker Sighting: You’ve seen NewsBTC’s MimbleWimbleCoin page. Our popular widget has also appeared on mwcprice.com, a site devoted to MimbleWimbleCoin. They’ve placed it at the top of their homepage:
If you’ve embedded our free cryptocurrency pricing widget on your website, let us know. You might be our next Nomics.com Ticker Sighting. For more on the widget, read the announcement post.
That’s all for this week. Thank you for being part of our growing community. 🌱
