BitYard represents a one-stop trading platform for global investors as it positions itself as the world’s leading cryptocurrency derivative exchange. Its mission is to enable as many investors as possible to invest in their own future with the help of the platform’s tools. At this, the exchange offers a low entry threshold as well as competitive fees. In addition, BitYard provides comprehensive contract and spot trading services.
Headquartered in Singapore, the platform was launched in 2019 and its mobile app was created in 2020. BitYard also has regulatory licenses in the United States, Australia, and Estonia. Thus, it is licensed under Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), USA’s Money Services Businesses (MSB), Estonia’s MTR, and Australia’s AUSTRAC. It’s worth adding that BitYard brings together investors from more than 150 countries. There are no restrictions on registration depending on the region of an investor, so everyone can use BitYard’s services.
At the moment of writing, the exchange offers more than 15 cryptocurrencies including blue chips such as BTC, ETH, and XRP, as well as some less popular coins such as XLM, XTZ, ZRC, and LINK. In addition, there is also a stablecoin USDT and the platform’s own token BYD. Fiat deposits are only supported in China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
The BitYard services
BitYard offers contract trading, which includes CFDs (Contracts for Difference) and perpetual contracts with many types of assets, such as cryptocurrencies, indices, etc. Another available service is spot trading. The platform offers 80+ trading pairs, such as BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, and other popular altcoins. Also, in order to make trading easier, Bityard provides copy trading and grid trading tools, which can be used even by beginners.
Every week BitYard screens some of the traders on top of the best records and disseminates them to provide accurate data for high-performing traders. BitYard also gives newcomers the opportunity to set up a demo account, i.e. a simulated trading account that can be used to learn the trading terminal of the exchange without the risk of financial losses. In order to make trading on the platform more convenient, BitYard has created a mobile app, where users can buy and trade crypto, vote and earn with ByVotes and Launchpad.
The BitYard technology
The Bityard platform offers cryptocurrency margin trading. It enables traders to put down only a fraction of the full trade amount in a leveraged position while getting the possibility of high income. Also, on BitYard, investors can buy an options contract, which makes them able to trade on the price movements of assets without actually holding the assets.
BitYard ensures the security of coins by using multiple wallets which are stored in the offline environment. Besides, to make the platform and investor’s communication safer BitYard uses SSL encryption.
To get accurate cryptocurrency prices BitYard uses a K-line weighted average that pulls data from 3 major crypto exchanges: Binance (30%), OKEx (40%) and Huobi (30%). BitYard also offers Trading Indicators to predict price movements based on the past market price and the trading volume of the assets. Users can choose the technical indicators themselves to display on the chart.
BitYard offers two types of contracts: Perpetual Contract (USDT-M) and Inverse Perpetual Contract (COIN-M). The USDT Perpetual Contract is USDT-margined. In an Inverse Contract, the tradeable currency (BTC/ETH/XRP/EOS) is used as a margin. Also, for risk control BitYard implements the model of tiered margin.
With BitYard, cryptocurrency-based products are active 24/7. However, the period between 05:50 AM and 05:55 AM (Singapore time) is the system processing time, when it’s impossible to open new positions. Also, at the time between 05:55 AM~06:00AM (Singapore time) the system charges overnight fees and does not support closing positions either.
The BYD token
BYD is the platform's intra-exchange token based on Ethereum. In total, there are 210 million tokens, 10,24 million of which were allocated to the mining program. The main function of these tokens is to help users reduce fees. Users get BYD as a bonus after their registration on the platform. They also can earn these tokens via the daily mining program.
BitYard Spot Market
Spot Trading feature was launched on the BitYard platform at the end of 2020. The base currency for spot trading on BitYard is USDT. However, more than 70 crypto pairs are available as well. At the moment of writing, the spot handling fee is 0.1%/0.3% which is charged separately for makers and takers. The Maker provides liquidity to the exchange and creates a market for tokens, and the taker performs market orders on the exchange to reduce liquidity.
The BitYard Affiliate program
The BitYard exchange has an affiliate programme and an affiliate support policy. Every user can get a referral link and a referral code, and then share it on his or her social media. Commission details can be checked through the Affiliate Center system. At the time of writing, commissions can reach up to 40%. Also, users with outstanding performance can be granted an elite agent status that gives them even more extra perks.
